Hauxley Nature Reserve

Hauxley Nature Reserve is owned and managed by Northumberland Wildlife Trust.  The site is open to the public daily (except Christmas Day).  There is a circular walk around the site and a cafe with view over the lake.  The cafe also has a small shop where some of our wool products are on sale.

Flexigraze usually has some livestock on the site as we help manage the grassland areas of the reserve.  For most of the year the livestock is in one of two paddocks to the west of the site but grazing is also carried out on two small wild flower meadow areas, near the visitor centre, after these have set seed and have been cut in the autumn.
